Voice teaching is my true passion. It has been my greatest joy to help hundreds of students (musical theater, operatic, pop) grow as singers, musicians and artists. In our work together I will help you achieve your vocal goals whether you are looking to expand your range, address vocal challenges, learn new repertoire or prepare for upcoming auditions and roles. I have taught voice at AMDA College and Conservatory in New York City since 2001. In addition, my students have performed with many national and international musical theater tours and in regional and off-Broadway houses such as Encores! City Center, The Muny, Broadway at Music Circus, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Glimmerglass Festival, Utah Festival, Natchez Opera, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Cincinnati Opera and Opera in the Heights. My students have won or placed in a number of vocal competitions, including the Licia Albanese-Puccini Competition, the Fritz and Lavinia Jensen Competition, the Lois Alba Competition, and the Liederkranz Foundation Competition. Several of my students have appeared in Scott Siegel’s annual production Broadway: The Next Generation formerly known as Broadway Rising Stars. I hold a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from the University of Illinois and a Master of Music in vocal performance from Washington University in St. Louis.
